1. consonant + vowel = 1 syllable

 ex. ㄴ+ㅏ = 나 (1syllable)
       combining 1consonant and 1 vowel on the right of the consonant.

take note that vowels ㅗ, ㅛ, ㅜ, ㅠ and ㅡ  is written under  consonant and the rest is on the right side of a consonant

             + ㅇ       or 1 word  "강"  is a "river" in English.
